We live in Maputo, Mozambique where we partner with the church in Mozambique to help develop younger church leaders in the emerging generation. Many people recognize that the continent of Africa faces the enormous challenges of disease, poverty, and lack of infrastructure. However, the greatest challenge for Africa is a lack of leadership – even in the church.
Dave works with church leaders who have little to no resources and help develop their skill sets and vision in partnering with other Mozambican church leaders. He is also working with younger church leaders to develop businesses that can help to financially sustain their ministries.
Amy partners with children’s workers inside of orphanages, schools, and the government, to act as an advocate for half of the population which is under the age of 18. She helps train children’s workers in areas of child development, and helps establish adoption and foster care options that will help alleviate the hopeless situation of many Mozambican orphanages.
