We understand the reasoning behind those who choose to show pictures of the desperate situation in Africa. Certainly the pictures are not manufactured. The situation in many places, including Mozambique, is grave. Poverty, HIV/AIDS, starvation and disease are real and seem to be omnipresent in the poor coastal nation.

However, on our site, you will only see smiles. We believe Africa is full of hope.

It is not that we are ignoring the needs. After all, we are going to meet real needs in partnership with Mozambican churches. But our desire is to communicate the good news of what God is doing on a continent that is not forgotten, but on the forefront of His mind.
